Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin unboxing

For those that don't know Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription box from Stampin' Up! Every month you get to look forward to a box of supplies to make different projects. What you get is a surprise every month! Isn't that why people across the land are gaga for these subscription boxes?
Everything is precut and color coordinated. All you have to provide is your creativity and adhesive. All kits come with an exclusive stamp set and an ink spot (aka baby ink pad). These are great kits to assemble with your kiddos. It's an easy way to build your stamp and ink collection! In a 12 month period the ink color will not repeat. As a subscriber you also have access to past kits. A full past kit includes the stamp set and ink spot while the refill has everything but the stamps and ink spot.
There are instructions on how to complete the projects as shown or you can watch the video on the Youtube link.
A prepaid subscription makes a wonderful gift for the crafty people in your life. *wink wink

Coming soon...

I had a great time this weekend! My son helped me film some new videos and he was even in one! It just goes to show that you don't have to completely neglect your family when starting a new endeavour; you just have to include them in chasing the dream. I love that my son sees how hard I'm working at this. I love that he wants to help. I want him to see that if you want something and are willing to work for it it can be yours!
Now off to edit these videos so I can post them!
Happy creating!

Playtime!

I was playing around with my new Stampin' Up! supplies and came up with this card. Will be using some of the techniques I was experimenting with in future demonstrations.

Supplies used:
Whisper White cardstock
Flirty Flamingo cardstock
Happy Happenings stamp set
In Colors 2016-2018 ink pads
Petite Petals stamp set
Petite Petals punch
Pop of pink washi tape
Versamark ink pad
Black embossing powder

My Stampin' Up! starter kit has arrived!

After what seemed like an eternity, my SU demonstrator starter kit has arrived! I was happy to see that it was scheduled to be delivered on a Friday since the UPS man already has to stop here every Friday. I'm not exaggerating when I say EVERY Friday. Usually he's come and gone by 11:30am at the latest. Today...he...was...late. Thinking that maybe it's the 'a watched pot never boils' syndrome, I left to run errands. At 2:22pm I get a text saying that my package had been delivered. FINALLY! Dr. Frankenfurter was quite mistaken over all that antici.........pation. Give me good old fashioned instant gratification. Anyway, long story short, I got home to see my boxes waiting for me on my porch. I forgot about my worries and my woes and floated over to them. Then I remember I had groceries melting in the back of my van. Yet another delay. At long last, I sat down to film with My Precious. Only to have the neighbors start firing off guns. Needless to say, Obama's gun control has not made it's way here. I filmed anyway. Pretend they're fireworks. So without further ado, may I present, my starter kit unboxing.

Mickey & Minnie love card {my 1st youtube video!}

I know I said my first video was going to be my Stampin' Up! starter kit unboxing but I just couldn't wait. I really enjoyed making this video. I was a little nervous at first but once I got warmed up I think I did pretty well. There's still a lot for me to learn about filming and editing but I love learning new things. The Oscar Wilde quote 'you can never be overdressed or overeducated' really resonates with me. There's always something new to learn!
I put together this card with supplies already in my stash. I'll put a full list of what I used below. Well...most of what I used. Some items have been in my stash for so long I don't remember what they're from or where I got them.

So... I forgot that YouTube has some limits on how long videos could be.
So...this video will be am exciting two part-er!

Oh, sure. Now I figure out how to upload longer videos. Well, guess I'll be ready for next time. Lol

It's Official!

That's right...I'm a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! I'm so excited and can't wait for my starter kit to arrive!  My creative juices are flowing and I have tons of project ideas. I even went out and got myself a swanky camera set up so I can start posting videos. My first video will be an unboxing of my starter kit. It was shipped today so hopefully it will be here in a couple days. So that's how long I have to figure out how to use this swanky new camera.
